      Michelin Two-Star Shang Palace Tuen Ng Festival Cooking Class

      Tasty treats were assured when members of The Club took part in a festive cooking class in May 2015 at the Kowloon Shangri-La’s Shang Palace restaurant – proud holder of two Michelin stars.

      After a classic dim sum breakfast, the kitchen rookies put their learning to work by making sticky rice dumplings under the watchful eyes of Chef Mok Kit Keung and Chef Chung Chi Ming. The chefs demonstrated how to make sticky rice dumplings filled with whole abalone and sweet mashed lotus seed paste, all wrapped in bamboo leaves.

      The delighted members were each awarded a certificate to show they had completed the culinary course – then took their tasty triumphs home.
